Privacy Policy

myengine.io ("myengine", "we", "us") gives businesses an AI agent that talks to their customers. This policy explains what information we handle for business owners who use the dashboard, and for customers who chat with a business's agent.

1. If you run a business on myengine

• Your email address. Sign-in is passwordless: you enter an email and we send a one-click link. We use it to sign you in and send essential service messages.
• Your business information. The profile and knowledge you add — menus, services, prices, hours, policies — is stored so your agent can answer from it. It is only used to run your agent.
• Connection credentials. If you connect Telegram, WhatsApp or MyFatoorah, the tokens you provide are stored to operate those connections on your behalf. We never use them for anything else.
• Payment information. Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.

2. If you chat with a business's agent

• Your messages are processed by our AI provider to generate the agent's replies, and stored so the business can see its own conversations, orders and complaints.
• Details you share — like a name, phone number or delivery address when placing an order — are collected for that business and shown to them, exactly as a waiter would take them down.
• The agent works for the business you're messaging. It isn't a general-purpose assistant and doesn't use your messages for anything beyond serving that business.

3. Service providers

• Anthropic — provides the AI that powers agents. Chat messages and the business's knowledge are sent to Anthropic's API to produce replies.
• Meta (WhatsApp) and Telegram — deliver messages when a business connects those channels.
• MyFatoorah — creates payment links on the business's own account when connected. Payments go directly to the business.
• Stripe — processes myengine subscriptions.
• Resend — delivers sign-in emails.
• Render — hosts the application and database.
• Google Analytics — measures how the public site is used.

Each processes data only to provide its part of the service, under its own terms.

4. What we keep

• Business knowledge, conversations, orders and complaints are stored so the service works and businesses keep their records.
• A business owner can edit or delete their knowledge at any time, and can ask us to delete their whole account and its data.
• We do not sell anyone's information, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Cookies

Signing in sets one session cookie. The public site uses Google Analytics to understand visits — never to sell data or serve ads. Stripe's checkout pages operate under Stripe's own policies.

6. Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), credentials live on the server only, and channel tokens are never shown back in full. No method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

To ask what we hold about you — as a business owner or as a customer who chatted with an agent — or to request deletion, email support@myengine.io. We aim to respond within one business day.

8. Children

myengine.io accounts are not intended for anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above changes when we do.
